Wyze error code 90 indicates that your camera is offline. First, power cycle the camera to fix it. After unplugging the camera, wait for 15 seconds before plugging it back in. Then, allow the camera to re-initialize. If this fails, you will need to flash new firmware on the SD card.

Power cycle Wyze cam

According to Wyze’s support website error code 90 refers to an issue with internet connectivity and requires that you power cycle your cam.

The process of power cycling is simply to turn off all electronic devices. This usually requires that you disconnect the device from its power source.

This resets the device quickly and is a good choice for troubleshooting.

To power cycle your Wyze cam:

  1. Unplug the camera from its power source. It is okay to unplug the camera from either its power source or on the wall.
  2. Allow the camera to fully discharge for 15 seconds.

I recommend that you power cycle your modem/router if you suspect there is something wrong with your internet.

This is done by unplugging your router/modem for 60 seconds, then plugging it back into the outlet. Allow your router to reconnect for several minutes.

When you see the green flashing lights on the modem/router, turn on your Wyze camera.
