- The flash icon on the iPhone yellow signifies that the flash is always on when you take pictures. It may be that your iPhone is set to automatic or always-on.
How to turn the flash on a brand new iPhone
The instructions for turning on your iPhone’s flash camera will vary depending on which model you have. This is how to turn on flash on an iPhone 11, 12, and SE (2nd Gen), as well as other models.

How to activate the iPhone Flash
