How to Change Your Apple ID on an iPhone

For many reasons, you can update your Apple ID. These are the steps you need to follow in order to locate your Apple ID and make any necessary changes.

What is an Apple ID?

Log in with your Apple ID to access your Apple devices.

You can use your Apple ID to create subscriptions, find lost Apple devices, and download older purchases.

How to Locate Your Apple ID

To locate your Apple ID, use the Setting app on your home screen.

Even if your Apple device is not available, you can still locate your Apple ID at iforgot.apple.com by entering your first and last name, as well as your email address.

What do I do to change my Apple ID or Password?

Open Settings. Tap on your name to change your Apple ID. Next, click Sign in.

It is highly recommended that you backup your iPhone before doing anything.

1. Click Settings Application. It is located in the gear-shaped section of your home screen.
2. Select the name you want to display at the top. This button will display Apple ID and iTunes & App Store.
3. Enter your password, tap To Turn Off
4. Next choose whether you want to create a backup Copy your data to iCloud.
5. Next, tap Sign In . Click the pop-up box. Register Now You can confirm it again.
   Notification: You might hesitate to give away your phone if you don’t have all the information.
6. Next, go to the Settings app.
7. Next, tap Log in. If you create an Apple ID, skip to the next section.
8. Next enter your new Apple ID password.

Notification – After signing in, you’ll be asked if you wish to merge data from both Apple IDs.

Sign up, then go to Settings. To verify and update your Apple ID Settings , tap these icons.

Create a new Apple ID

To sign in to your iPhone, click Settings. These steps will help you create an Apple ID.

1. To open Options , click Login to iPhone
2. If you forgot your Apple ID, click here.
3. Next, tap to create an Apple ID.
4. Enter your name, date of birth. Then, tap Next.
5. Fill in your email address . Create your Apple ID using an email account.
6. To access your Apple ID, you will need to create a password.
7. Click Accept to accept the Terms and Conditions screen.
