The HP Envy 15 2021 (2021) is a 2-in-1 laptop. It combines powerful CPU and GPU power, elegant, robust design, an outstanding display, and long battery life, all at an unbelievable price. If you don’t have the budget for a luxury 2-in-1, it’s hard to find a better 2-in-1 laptop. This is especially true when you already get best-in-class performance. A large number of ports makes it even more affordable. It’s easy to connect with peripherals if you already have them.
However, it’s not the most comfortable tablet to use. It’s heavier than the average tablet, so it’s not the most user-friendly. These are minor issues that we find to be a problem, but the positives outweigh them.
How 2-in-1 laptops are tested
The testing of 2-in-1 laptops is similar to traditional clamshell laptops but with a few additional steps. We also have to test the 2-in-1 hybrid form factor and touchscreen functionality of these laptops, in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that the touchscreen responds as it should.
First, we examine the design of a 2-in-1 laptop. We check its durability, portability, comfort, trackpad, keyboard, and display. We verify the availability of ports as well as biometrics sign-in technologies. Because video conferencing is so integral to our lives, we also check the microphone, speakers, webcam and webcam.
