Access to Xbox Cloud Gaming requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. It costs $14.99/PS10.99 per month and is slightly more expensive than the base subscription, but it does provide access to Xbox Cloud Gaming along with the PC Game Pass service.

A device that supports Xbox Cloud Gaming is also required. These devices can be either Android or iOS smartphones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S22 and iPhone 13. Xbox Cloud Gaming works on tablets such as the iPad and iPad Pro11. The Xbox Game Pass app is required for both smartphones and tablets. It allows you to stream and access supported games in just a few clicks.

Xbox has a list of supported devices (opens in a new tab ). However, in general you should be able play Xbox Cloud Gaming games if your computer is modern, as well as any smartphone or tablet that runs either iOS or Android.

For a cloud gaming experience, you will need to have a faster connection. This will reduce latency and minimize screen tearing.

You can stream supported games via Xbox Cloud Gaming and play them instantly on any device. This instant delivery comes with its own costs.

Xbox Cloud Gaming streams at 1080p resolution, up to 60 frames per second. This ensures consistent performance. This means that you can’t stream games at higher resolutions such as 4K or 1440p, but 1080p will be more than sufficient for the small screens you’ll be using for Xbox Cloud Gaming, whether it’s a tablet or smartphone screen.

A 1080p limit makes Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming easier for your internet bandwidth, but you still need a fast connection to ensure a consistent experience.

If you have the right criteria, Xbox Cloud Gaming will offer smooth streaming. Games played via Xbox Cloud Gaming provide sharper visuals, faster load times, and better performance than games on the Xbox One. Particularly, load times are comparable to those of the incredibly fast Xbox Series X/S SSDs.

With Xbox Cloud Gaming, you can play many of the games in the Xbox Game Pass library. You can’t stream every game, but you can access the “Cloud” section of the app to see a list of all games that you can play through the Xbox Cloud Gaming service.

There are many titles that can be played via Xbox Cloud Gaming. You can play first-party titles such as Forza Horizon and Gears Tactics. But you also have the option to play some of the most popular indies, like Hollow Knight and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

You can also stream some of the most popular third-party games on Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S such as Mortal Kombat 11 and Dragon Quest 11. There are many games available on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
