Enable Your Echo Microphone
It is simple to fix your Amazon Echo’s microphone. Just press the microphone button located on the top of the Echo.
To turn off your Alexa device’s red lights, press the button. If it doesn’t respond, restart the device.
Reset Your Amazon Echo
Factory reset for Amazon Echo devices is slightly different because of the many options. Use the Android (or iOS) apps to reset your Amazon Echo.
- Open Alexa App
- Select Devices from the bottom bar
- Choose Echo & Alexa
- Scroll down until Factory Set. Select the name you want for your Echo.
Alexa will turn on the orange light to indicate that it is resetting itself following your factory reset command.
If the orange light on your device turns on and off, it has entered setup mode. Your device should now be in work mode.
