Walmart PS5 Restock Issues
Some fans are calling Walmart’s recent hosting of PS5 drops “horrendous”. Read on to find out which stores you should visit next if you’re unsuccessful with your purchase.
Comicbook reported that some customers said the previous Walmart console restock was among the worst events since the PS5’s launch last year. Evidently, not all buyers were happy with the latest drop.
Some customers also shared their experiences with the event. Most customers reported that technical issues caused them to cancel their purchase of the new console.
Some people claimed that the website crashed during checkout. Some claimed that the website crashed upon checkout. Others said it was even frozen and that certain functions weren’t working correctly.
Customers complained that they couldn’t add the PlayStation 5 to their carts during checkout. Many customers considered waiting to see if there would be a second round of restocks at other stores within the next few weeks.
Many people raised concerns over the Walmart PS5 fiasco via Twitter. One customer stated that Walmart was a “billion-dollar business with a $5 server.” Another customer described the PS5’s latest drops as “horrendous.”
Another one said that he was stuck for 10-30 minutes due to the “freezing screen”. He heard people mention the increased timers and felt Walmart wanted him out of the line.
We expect Walmart to address these issues very soon. We still expect that buyers will continue to shop at other retailers to get PS5.
