The Top 10 Best Cooking Games For Android and iPhone

Popular Posts

Good food is for all. Everyone, that’s who. While we all enjoy great food, it’s clear that not everyone can cook well. Mobile games can solve this problem.

There are many cooking simulations, and we tried many to find the most fun. These are the top iOS and Android cooking games.

1. Good Pizza, Great Pizza

Good Pizza, Great Pizza focuses on -you guessed it —pizza. You aim to climb up the chain of restaurants by creating pizza and eventually becoming the owner.

This cooking game features timed sessions that allow you to make pizzas during your shop’s “open” hours. The profits can be used for upgrades to the shop, new toppings and/or an upgrade of your pizza-making machine.

The music in the beginning of the game is the only thing that is odd about it. It makes you feel like you are being invited to a horror movie rather than a cooking class.

2. Diner DASH Adventures

Diner DASH Adventures is another popular cooking title. You will be responsible for renovating a diner and turning it into a profitable business. Diner DASH is a time-based game that teaches you how to effectively manage your finances and helps you upgrade your company.

Diner DASH, a cooking game, is very story-driven. There are microtransactions, ads and banners in the game. However, they are minimal and not intrusive.

3. Cooking City

Cooking City is a fun and easy-to-use cooking game.

Cooking City does not focus on running a restaurant like in Good Pizza, or Great Pizza. Instead, it focuses more on creating “food combos” that are timed. These combos will determine how fast you can serve your customers, and how happy they are to stay with you through the order.

4. Cooking Craze

Cooking Craze has a similar feel to Cooking City. Both are time-management and brightly colored titles. This is where the goal is to provide food combinations that are complete for your customers.

Cooking Craze is less intuitive than Cooking City, but this is minor. There will be more ads.

5. Cooking Fever

Cooking Fever has become a popular category game. Similar to the others, the objective is to create time-based food combinations. There is restaurant management involved, unlike the other two apps. This adds complexity.

We liked the fact that the game took its time to explain how it works. It walks you through the creation of combos.

6. Perfect Slices

Perfect Slices is an entertaining game with lots of potentials. We have mixed feelings.

The basic idea is that you must chop vegetables as quickly and efficiently as possible. Also, you must avoid any other objects that could damage your knife.

Each level ends with a choice of two options: you can either upgrade your knife with new items or buy new vegetables using the coins you’ve collected. It’s fun and easy to play, making it a great game for mindless entertainment before bed.

A major downside? The ads are so distracting that it’s almost impossible to use the game. Perfect Slices is otherwise a very enjoyable game. They can be removed with an in-app $3 purchase.

7. Restaurant Story

Our personal favorite mobile cooking game is Restaurant Story. Restaurant Story 2 has a sequel. We found Restaurant Story 2 more enjoyable after playing both.

Restaurant Story is the purest form of “cooking games” because you design everything from the ground up. It includes floor tiles, themed ovens, and complex recipes.

This game is ideal for people who enjoy being in complete control of their experience. Restaurant Story is a game similar to The Sims, but with a food-driven emphasis. If you are interested, we have compared The Sims games.
