HDMI – Connecting a Soundbar with a TV Is the Best Way!
An HDMI cable can be used to connect your TV and soundbar. HDMI cables can handle the most demanding soundbars and surround sound systems.
Many TVs have multiple HDMI ports (High Definition Multimedia Interface) A soundbar can be connected to your TV via an HDMI ARC port (audio back channel).
If your TV has labels on the sides or back, you can check to see if your soundbar supports HDMI ARC. These ports are found on most soundbars.
You might find an HDMI port on your TV or soundbar. You might find it on your TV or soundbar.
HDMI-ARC vs HDMI eARC
HDMI eARC technology, a new technology, is faster and more reliable than older generations. It allows your TV’s HDMI port to transmit more data to your soundbar. This will increase the audio quality.

If you have multiple HDMI ports, the IN ports can be used to connect other devices to your soundbar. This will make it easier to disconnect cables, especially if you have a mount for your TV.

HDMI cables can be used to transfer high-quality audio into 7.1 surround sound systems. However, optical cables are not compatible with compressed 5.1 surround sound systems.
