The Galaxy Watch 4 was $249 for the 40mm Bluetooth. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic was $349 for the 42mm Bluetooth model. Both models are available with LTE versions. For those who prefer a rotating bezel, only the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be available.
Samsung’s prices increased this year. We are not surprised by this as Samsung has not used consistent pricing for Galaxy Watches. However, we are fairly certain that the Apple Watch Series8 will start at $399. This is the same price as the Apple Watch Series 7 or previous generations of Apple Watch models.
For the 40mm Bluetooth model, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 starts at $279 The price for the 40mm LTE model is $329. For the 44mm LTE configurations, the price is $299 and $349 respectively. The standard Galaxy Watch 5 will cost $30 more than the LTE and Bluetooth versions.
Tte Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is priced at $449 for Bluetooth, and $499 for LTE. The watch comes in a unique 45mm size. The Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro models are both available starting August 26, 2022.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 vs. Galaxy Watch 4 design
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 was very similar to the best Samsung watches in the past. We did see some improvements, including a more slim build and seamless transitions from the watch band to the watch case.

Multiple upgrades are available for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, which is longer than the Galaxy Watch 4’s battery life. The Galaxy Watch 4’s battery life is 40 hours, but we found that we had to charge it every 24 hours for daily exercise and sleep-tracking.
The Galaxy Watch 5’s battery is 15% larger than the Galaxy Watch 4. It can last up to 50 hours. This is about 10 hours more than the previous Galaxy Watch 4. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro can last up to 80 hours. This is double the rating of the Galaxy Watch 4. These claims will need to be tested.

We can’t tell how much the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 lineup is better than the Galaxy Watch 4 for $30 less until we run our regular tests. We’ll say that Samsung appears to be entering a cycle of incremental updates similar to the Apple Watch. That’s probably a good thing. This suggests that the Galaxy Watch is fully-featured and established, with limited changes.
