How to Hide the Red Dot on Apple Watch

Popular Posts

The little red dot at the top right of your Apple Watch’s watch face indicates that you have not read notifications. Learn how to remove it permanently or permanently.

What the Red Dot Does

The red dot looks a lot like the badge notification that you see on iPhone icons. Although it’s helpful for identifying notifications that have not been viewed, some people find it distracting.

Simply swipe down on the red dot and you will be able to see all notifications. To get rid of all notifications, click the Clear All link at the top of this list. The button will also be displayed by design as a red dot.

If you don’t receive many notifications, the dot indicator is a useful way to know when at least one is available. However, if you do get notifications frequently, that little red dot could become a permanent part of your watch face.

You can disable Apple Watch notifications from individual apps or hide the red dot entirely by following these steps.
