This article will explain how to turn off your Android alarms. Additional information is available on how to disable alarms from your Wear device. These instructions are applicable to Android 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5 as well as the wear operating system.
How to Turn Alarms on Android 10
Although the Android OS has seen a lot of changes over the years, the majority of its basic functions remain the same. The following functions are available on Android 5.0 and higher:
- Launch the Clock App.
- Your alarms won’t appear unless you tap Alarm.
- To turn off an alarm, tap the toggle switch. The switch will turn grayed out if the alarm is turned off.
How to change and delete Android alarms
To change the frequency and sound of an alarm, tap the time. Tap the three dots menu above your alarms to permanently delete them. Next, select Delete in the pop-up window. Then, choose the alarms that you wish to remove and then tap the trashcan. To manage all alarm settings, you can also select Settings.
Android 4.4: How to cancel alarms
Things look slightly different for Android 4.4 KitKat. You will see an option called Dismiss now under your alarms. To cancel your alarm, tap the X button next to it.
