To determine the difference among two rows of information within an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet choose the version you have installed of Excel and follow the directions.
Microsoft Excel to The Office 365

- You can open the Excel spreadsheet with the information you want to examine.
- Pick all cells within the two columns with the information to be to be compared.

- On the Ribbon you will find the Home tab, click Find and Choose and then click Go to.
- Within the Go To pop-up window, choose the row that is different and then Click “OK. Excel will select the differences of the two columns.
- To draw attention to the differences, keep them unchecked, then select on the paint bucket icon within the font menu, and then select the color you wish to highlight. Additionally, you can right-click and choose an area of the bucket that you want to draw attention to.
Microsoft Excel 2003
- Start the Excel spreadsheet that contains the information you wish to examine.
- Pick all cells in each of the columns with the information to be to be compared.
- How do you pick one or more cell within the spreadsheet program.
- In the menu for files located at near the bottom of the window, select “Edit,” and then select Go To..
- On the Go to special pop-up, choose the row that is different Then Click “OK”. Excel will select the differences of the columns.
- To draw attention to the differences, keep them in the list, then select to select the paint bucket icon on the font menu. Select the color you wish to highlight. You can also right-click to select your paint bucket, which will highlight cells.
