Apple S7 Processor
Storage onboard: 32GB

There are many reasons to buy
+Brighter, larger screen+Faster charging
Avoidable reasons
While there are many workouts, basic-Battery-life needs to be extended.
We wrote about Apple’s Watch 7 review that it has a “decent display, good fitness tracking, and easy-to-read notifications” which we said was a major improvement over the previous models.
It’s still a flagship smartwatch, but it’s not that different from the Apple Watch 6.
The Apple Watch 7 has the same chip and few new features. However, the Apple Watch 7’s new features are useful, particularly the larger screen that is 20% larger and still fits comfortably on your wrist thanks to the smaller bezels.
The Apple Watch 7’s larger size makes a big difference in how you interact with it. It also charges much faster than ever before. The Apple Watch 7 is undoubtedly a fantastic smartwatch, and a better version of the Apple Watch 6.
We found that the wearable could have had better battery life and more fitness features, but we are still impressed by what is here.
2. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
The best Samsung smartwatch
Specifications
Compatibility: Android
Display: 1.2″ 396 x 396 / 1.4″ 450 x 450 Super AMOLED
Processor: Dual-core 1.18GHz
Storage onboard: 16GB
Battery life: 3 days for 44mm, less for 40mm
Method of charging wireless
IP rating: IP68
Connectivity: Wi Fi, Bluetooth, LTE (plus)
There are many reasons to buy
+Excellent performance+Interesting new software
Avoidable reasons
-Limited compatibility-Lacks rotating bezel
With the return of Wear OS (which was used for previous models), the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 received a lot attention. This isn’t WearOS as you may know it. It’s a new version of the operating system that was created alongside Samsung and features a Tizen-like skin.
This means that you can have the best of both the apps and functionality of Wear OS combined with the design and feel of Tizen.
We highlighted the “good fitness features and strong battery life” in our review. This is due to the lightweight design and new body composition measurement tools.
Some of the features are only compatible with Samsung phones. There is no support for iPhone on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. We don’t recommend it to anyone. If you have a Galaxy Watch, it’s not worth upgrading.
3. Apple Watch SE
The most affordable Apple Watch
Specifications
OS: WatchOS 8
Compatibility with iOS
Display: 1.78 inch OLED
Apple S5 Processor
Storage onboard: 32GB
Battery life: 18 hours
Method of charging wireless
IP rating: Water-resistant up to 50m
There are many reasons to buy
+Premium design+Great price for Apple Watch
Avoidable reasons
-Lacks are always displayed-Battery could have been better
The Apple Watch SE is a great smartwatch, but you need to have an iPhone in order to make the best choice.
We wrote in our review that “it has all the useful features as the Watch 6 but is much more affordable and so it’s one of the top smartwatches.”
The SE features top-of-the-line specs, a sleek design, and an incredible range of features you won’t find on any other smartwatch at the moment.
Based on our testing, the battery life isn’t the most impressive on the market and the display isn’t always on. However, the Apple Watch SE is a great choice for anyone looking for a great price for a wrist companion.
4. Fitbit Versa 3
The best Fitbit
Specifications
Fitbit OS
Compatibility: Android, iOS
Display: 1.58 inches AMOLED
Processor: N/A
Storage onboard – N/A
Battery life: up to 6 days
Method of charging: Magnetic connecting pin
IP rating Water resistance
Connectivity: Wi Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC
There are many reasons to buy
+Built in GPS+Lightweight, comfortable
Avoidable reasons
-Poor Side Button – No offline Spotify
You don’t need anything from Apple or Samsung. Fitbit Versa 3 is the smartwatch for you. This smartwatch from the company can be a great companion for people who are interested in fitness features.
It has a built-in GPS and we found it to be comfortable to wear. The display is clear and easy to read with a sharp image. This smartwatch is not as popular as previous Fitbits and will not be suitable for everyone.
We reviewed the Fitbit Versa 3 and said that it is an excellent wearable. However, it is more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch. There are very few productivity apps available.
The Fitbit Versa 3 is an excellent option for wearable enthusiasts. It’s also more affordable than other options.
5. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3
The Tizen smartwatch at its best
Specifications
OS: Tizen OS
Compatibility: Android, iOS
Display: 1.2″ or Super AMOLED 360 x 360
Processor: Dual-core 1.15GHz
Storage onboard: 8GB
Battery life: 3 days for 45mm, less for 41mm
Method of charging wireless
IP rating: IP68
Connectivity: Wi Fi, Bluetooth, LTE (for more)
There are many reasons to buy
+Great, premium design + Rotating bezel is helpful
Avoidable reasons
-Battery could have been better-Tizen apps may be limited
Galaxy Watch 3 continues to be a top-rated smartwatch for Android users – it works with iPhone as well.
The unique rotating bezel makes it easy to navigate the Galaxy Watch 3. This was a lot more intuitive than tapping and swiping the display on many of the other top smartwatches.
The watch has fewer apps than watchOS or Wear OS, but they still offer the core functionality. Samsung also created a watch that is great for fitness and offers lots of other functions.
Although the features are less if you use it with an iPhone, they’re still compatible. If you have an Apple Watch, we recommend it.
The Galaxy Watch 4 has succeeded it, but the Watch 3 remains a solid offering. We concluded our review by stating that “it’s one the best smartwatch experiences on market, with an dazzling design, top-end specs.”

Display: 1.58 inches AMOLED
Processor: N/A
Storage onboard: 4GB
Battery life: 6+ days
Method of charging: Magnetic connecting pin
IP rating: Water resistance to 5ATM
Connectivity: Wi Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC
There are many reasons to buy
+Built in GPS+Lightweight, comfortable
Avoidable reasons
-Poor Side Button – No offline Spotify
Fitbit Sense is stylish and powerful. It packs advanced fitness and health features such as an ECG and stress monitoring, heart rate zones and skin temperature measurement. The Sense is a fashionable smartwatch that can help you deal with modern stressors, as we have said in our review.
It has a lot of interesting features and is paired with everything you would expect from a smartwatch that is fitness-focused, such as GPS, tracked workouts, voice assistants (with the option to use Alexa or Google Assistant) and meditation tools.
The Fitbit Sense feels complete with a stainless steel case and sharp screen. Unfortunately, some of its tools are hidden behind a Fitbit Premium paywall.
This is the best option if you are happy to sign up for it. However, if you prefer to just buy one watch, you won’t have access to all of its features.
