Popular Posts

Apple’s AirPods range is the perfect way to add wireless audio to your device, especially if it is an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

The headphones have a great sound quality and can be paired with Apple devices easily. There may be instances when things don’t go according to plan, just as with all electronic equipment.

If your AirPods won’t connect, there are a few things you can do to fix it.

1. Charge your AirPods

This is the easiest thing you can do if your AirPods don’t connect or aren’t working correctly. Reassemble your AirPods and place them in the charging case. Charge everything using a Lightning cable, or wireless charger. Wait until the charging case’s light turns green. This means your AirPods are fully charged up.

2. Software Update

You can also update your iOS or iPadOS software to diagnose any AirPods problems, including connection problems.

To do this, go to Settings >General > Software Update from your iPhone or iPad. Follow the prompts on the screen to update your software. You can resolve any issues with your device by using the most current software.

Bluetooth connections can be imperfect. To quickly determine if your Bluetooth connection is not working properly, toggle the Bluetooth connection on or off. There are many ways to do this. You can start by going to the Control Center and pressing the Bluetooth symbol. If you don’t know what this handy feature does, check out how to customize the iPhone control centre .

Another way to toggle Bluetooth is settings > Bluetooth.

For Bluetooth switching on or off, Siri users can simply speak to Apple’s virtual assistant.

4. Restart your device

If your AirPods are still not connecting, you can restart your device. You can do this in a variety of ways depending on your iPhone’s age. To use a modern iPhone press the volume button, followed by the volume down. Next, press the Side button. To turn off your iPhone, swipe across the screen. To turn the iPhone on again, press the side button. The start-up process has begun when you see the Apple logo.

It is the same process for an iPad with no home button.

After you have restarted your device, you can check if the AirPods are connected and then you can rock out again.

5. Use Only One AirPod

Each AirPod can function independently of the other earbuds, although this is something you might not be aware of. To determine if your issue is limited to one AirPod, take each one out of the charging case and check if it connects to your device. You’ll be able to determine the source of the problem if only one AirPod connects to your device.

6. Reset and Re-Pair Your AirPods

If these issues persist, you may need to take more severe measures. Factory resets will wipe all data from the AirPods and return them to the original state they were in when you bought them.

Then, place the AirPods into the charging case. Close the lid to begin the process. Continue to wait for 30 seconds.

Next, open the charging case’s lid and leave it open. Next, open the Settings menu on your iPhone/iPad and select Bluetooth. Tap the More Info (I) button next to your AirPods’ name.

Select Forget this Device and confirm the command. For approximately 15 seconds, open the lid and press the setup button at the back of the AirPods case. Wait until the status light turns amber, then turn it white.

Once the AirPods have been factory reset, you can pair them with your phone. Place the AirPods near an iPhone/iPad by opening the lid. You’ll see the screen pop up if you are successful. These instructions will guide you to connect your AirPods to your iCloud account.

Please note that the third-generation AirPods Pro and AirPods Pro cannot be linked to more than one Apple ID. If you want to use AirPods that have been connected to another Apple ID, then the other person must remove them from their account.
